Fun Ideas for Utah/Salt Lake Counties
Gayla, mother of two from South Jordan, has lived in the beautiful state of Utah for her entire life and loves everything that Utah has to offer. After speaking to Gayla about what she likes about Utah and the many things her family enjoys, she has a few recommendations for moms with young children. 1)If you are in Utah Valley head to the beautiful mountains that surround the area! The mountains are a great place to hike, camp, fish, etc. Another place that we love to visit is the Thanksgiving Point Dinosaur Museum. This museum has many different kinds of dinosaurs on display and is a perfect place for my 5 year old and 3 year old. Thanksgiving Point also has many other great attractions that the kids love! 2)Every year we love to head to
Salt Lake City
for a gander at the exquisite lights at
Temple Square.
It may seem simple, but on the REALLY cold years we take pictures from the car, regularly we get out and walk around and take pictures of the kids by the lights. This tradition may seem simple to others, but we treasure it! If you are in a position to drive up to see the lights, I totally recommend it!
